FARKASMÁLYI DŰLŐ- ÉS PINCEFUTÁS

The Farkasmály Vineyard and Cellar Run is a unique running race along the cellar row in Farkasmály, Gyöngyös, taking place on May 2, 2026. Participants run through beautiful vineyards and wine cellars on varied terrain with some small hills. The race includes a shorter, less hilly loop and a longer loop with more elevation, so everyone can find a suitable distance. The event is organized by GYÖTRI Klub, one of the region’s leading sports clubs.

Registration and race-bib pickup from 13:00; on-site registration closes 15 minutes before the start of the relevant event. Parking is available on the grassy area next to the Szilue Hotel. Race distances: Vineyard Loop (2 laps), Farkasmály Loop (4 laps), relay race 4x1500 m, and a fröccs race for teams of 3: 800 m + 4 fröccs drinking stations (wine or must fröccs). At the end of each lap, the course passes through cellars; runners climb a small hill towards the finish arch. Trail running, routes between cellars, wine tasting, advance and on-site registration, awards, open cellars, refreshments, and awards ceremony.
