GAJA-VÖLGY TRAIL

Gaja Valley Trail is a trail-running event organised by the Gaja Valley Association for the second time on 25 July 2026 in Fehérvárcsurgó, near Károlyi Castle. Runners and hikers can choose from three different distances. The focus is not on competition, but on the joy of exercise, a shared community experience and being close to nature. The event aims to promote running at every level, from beginners to experienced runners, in a pleasant summer woodland setting. The start and finish are at the Károlyi Castle Visitor Centre, while the sound of Gaja Stream and the quiet of the valley create a special atmosphere for participants.

Gaja Valley Trail is not a race and has no timing, so beginner, amateur and recreational runners can all take part. Every participant receives a finisher’s medal. The event offers a friendly community atmosphere, a healthy lifestyle and an experience close to nature. Alongside trail running, the event also features hikes and cycling challenge tours. The venue is easy to reach, and the varied terrain is rich in natural features.
