ÍROTTKŐ HEGYI FUTÓVERSENY

The Írottkő Mountain Running Race is a special trail running event held in the wild landscapes of the Kőszeg Mountains. Participants can choose from several distances, from the short 7 km introductory run to the challenging 102 km ultra distance, which also extends into Austria. The race takes place on varied terrain, including steep ascents and forests, providing runners with an unforgettable experience of nature and panoramic views. A unique feature of the race is the team-based ultra distance, emphasizing shared experience and endurance.

The race is semi-self-sufficient, requiring runners to bring their own equipment, such as headlamps and rain jackets. Two refreshment points are available along the 23 km course. The event is environmentally conscious, with a zero waste program. Accommodation options are available in Kőszeg and nearby areas.
