KOMÁROM – KOMÁRNO FUTÓVERSENY

The Komárom-Komárno International Street Running Race is an open, recreational running event held on the streets of the cities of North and South Komárom—two countries, one city. The event offers 5.5 km and 10 km distances, as well as children’s races, and welcomes both competitive and recreational runners. Its aim is to promote running, strengthen the sense of belonging to the running community, and support healthy living. The start is at Szabadság Square in South Komárom, and the finish is at the City Sports Hall in North Komárom. The event is a longstanding international tradition that also strengthens cooperation between the two cities.

Race-pack pickup on race day: by 9:45 at the latest for the 5.5 km distance and by 9:15 for the 10 km distance. The event aims to strengthen the running community and promote healthy living. The mayors of the two cities are the event’s patrons. Race directors and local race coordinators oversee the organization. The event takes place on May 1, 2026; registration is open, and detailed information is available on the official websites. The event brings together the local community and international runners.
