MAPEI TIHANYI FÉLMARATON (XI.) .

The MAPEI Tihany Half Marathon is a traditional running event held for the 11th time in Tihany, offering a variety of distances for beginners to advanced runners. The race's special features include the beautiful panorama of the Balaton Uplands and the challenging, diverse terrain that touches the most scenic parts of the peninsula. Many choose the half marathon distance as their first, as the course layout and spectacular sections provide an unforgettable experience. The event is family-friendly, with a baby run for the youngest participants, and all finishers receive a medal, refreshments, and a running shirt.

All distances include a finisher medal and a running shirt. The 3K race starts at 11:00, while the 5K, 12K, and 21K races start at 12:00, with the 21K having a staggered start. The 400-meter baby run takes place at the race center, with refreshments at the finish line. There are age group awards, and participants under 18 require parental consent. The field is limited to 1500 participants, excluding the baby run. The race takes place on paved roads of the Tihany Peninsula, featuring varied elevation and panoramic views. Distances: 400 m, 3 km, 5 km, 12 km, 21 km; the event will be held on October 3, 2026, at Club Tihany.
