Race description
The Pécs-Orfű-Abaliget Run is a road half marathon connecting the towns of Pécs, Orfű and Abaliget, with 465 metres of elevation gain. The event aims to bring local running communities together and promote running among the hills and lakes. It is traditionally held in early June and also offers family-friendly activities, such as a children’s race. With the support of local communities and the university, the organizers welcome runners to enjoy nature and sport together.

Additional information
Race pack: chip timing bib with safety pins. On-site registration and race pack collection on June 7, 2026, between 08:30 and 09:30. A special bus will run from Abaliget to Pécs; the ticket costs 1,500 Ft, and you must request it when registering. Participants under 18 need parental consent. Parking is limited; using public transport is recommended. Distances: 21 km, 9 km, children’s race, dog run; refreshment stations, changing room, shower, swimming at Abaliget, lunch after the race, cup-free event.
