X. Sopron Trail 5 / 10 / 25

The Sopron Trail 2026 mountain running race will be held in the picturesque surroundings of Sopron-Brennbergbánya on June 14, 2026. The race aims to promote trail running and showcase the wild parts of the Sopron Mountains. Participants can choose from several distances, including 5.9 km, 10.7 km, and 25.9 km, with the Alpokalja Trail King series also included. The race features a special extra challenge on a timed uphill section, where the best male and female runners will receive a prize. The race headquarters is located at the Brennbergbánya Cultural Center, which has restrooms and showers available.

The start and finish are at Brennbergbánya main square. The award ceremony is scheduled for Sunday at 12:30 at the finish line. Showers and restrooms/WC are available at the race headquarters. Due to environmental reasons, no cups will be provided at the refreshment points; participants are advised to bring their own water bottles or cups. Registration is done online via the E-registration system, with the deadline on June 13, 2026, at 12:00 PM. The race offers special prizes for the challenging uphill sections. The organizers implement eco-friendly solutions.
