Race description
The Tanúhegyek Trail is a trail running race organized by the Terepfutó Műhely Sportegyesület in one of the most beautiful parts of the Balaton Uplands National Park, in Badacsonytomaj. Participants can choose from 7 km, 21 km, and 42 km distances, each involving conquering 1, 3, or 5 Tanúhegy peaks, with stunning views of Lake Balaton and the surrounding landscape. The start and finish are at the Halászkert, and the race also serves a charitable purpose, with the timing chip deposit fee being donationable to the Ürömi Állatotthon. The shortest distance includes a dog-friendly race, and everyone is welcome to participate in the event scheduled for November 14, 2026.
