Tanúhegyek Trail 7 / 21 / 42

The Tanúhegyek Trail is a trail running race organized by the Terepfutó Műhely Sportegyesület in one of the most beautiful parts of the Balaton Uplands National Park, in Badacsonytomaj. Participants can choose from 7 km, 21 km, and 42 km distances, each involving conquering 1, 3, or 5 Tanúhegy peaks, with stunning views of Lake Balaton and the surrounding landscape. The start and finish are at the Halászkert, and the race also serves a charitable purpose, with the timing chip deposit fee being donationable to the Ürömi Állatotthon. The shortest distance includes a dog-friendly race, and everyone is welcome to participate in the event scheduled for November 14, 2026.

Timing is electronic, using a chip, with a deposit fee of 2000 HUF, which can be refunded or donated to charity. There may be unannounced control points along the route. A dog-friendly race is held on the shortest distance. The race does not close public roads, so traffic rules must be observed.
